I got a Nokia 6280 midway through last year. Was the first new phone I’d got in years as part of going from pre-paid to a plan. I was shocked and dismayed to find that the phone did not have anything even remotely resembling the sound a phone would make if it were ringing. The closest to the normal ringtone was the “Nokia Tone” which annoys me, I don’t want to hear that every time soneone calls me.
Anyway, I have a phone that won’t ring right. I looked all around the web to find a normal ring tone for free. The solution… I made my own ring. Thanks to quick session on simple audio editing program, I have a truly unique ringtone… after all I made it.
If you, like I was, are looking for a ring tone that sounds like phone you’ve come to the right place. Right click here and click on “Save Link Target” to download a free normal ringtone in mp3 format ready to be downloaded onto your mobile phone. Perfect for all situations and not in the slightest bit strange. Never again be embarrased by your phone going off in a semi-serious situation. After all… IT REALLY SOUNDS LIKE A PHONE.
Note, the Nokia Tone can still be entertaining. Thanks to Triggerhappy TV, it always makes me think (at the loudest possible volume): “HELLO!!!”. See the following clips:

Top site. All the same reasons we build justringring.com for normal basic ringtones. Well done again for pulling this together.

Thank you so much for this! I’ve been searching for hours for a normal ringtone for my Nokia phone — and was even willing to pay T-Mobile for the privilege, if only they HAD a normal ringtone available for purchase. But no. So imagine my relief when I found this post. Thanks very much for sharing!

I’ve been looking all over the web for a freaking normal ringtone, and finally found one at your site! I downloaded it, then uploaded it to ventones.com where I shortened it for verizon (30 sec max) and then sent it to my phone. Not exactly easy but now I don’t have a dumbasss sound coming out of my phone. Thanks for the ringtone!

We make some iPhone-specific normal sounding ringtones. Just Google “iProRings” and you should find us pretty easily!
