I’ve booked my ticket to ALSA Conference 2007

Two weeks ago, I submitted an entry to the Australian Law Reform Commission and with that, Vanja and I had entered the Kirby Cup. After a nervous wait the following has shown up on the Kirby Cup website:

Congratulations to the finalists for the Kirby Cup 2007

  • Peter Clay and Vanja Tekic, Murdoch University;
  • Tom Smyth and Christian Strauch, Australian National University; and
  • Susan Cirillo and Radhika Withana, University of Sydney.

The final round of the competition will be held on 5 July 2007 at ANU, during the ALSA Conference

Booyah, the game is on. Mega excited about Canberra 2007 and about being in the Kirby Cup. If you are going to ALSA, send us a comment.

Conference is a big deal (for example, the opening ball this year is in the Grand Hall of Parliament House) and is well worth it (ALSA is damn good value).

Here is a promo video from last year’s conference (unfortunately there doesn’t appear to be one for this year)

Check out the ALSA conference website for more details about this year’s conference. Registration closes on May the 18th so get in touch with MSLS (or your LSS is you are from another uni) as soon as possible if you are interested in going.
