I wasn’t planning to say anything more about this, but seeing as my comments about the Guild Election Regulations have been misconstrued or misinterpreted, I thought a clarification was in order. I thought I’d respond directly for the reasons given for not complying :
The election date has not yet been called.
So what, the regulations aren’t restricted to the time after the election date is known.
The regulations quoted by Peter in an earlier email related to
Hard copy materials
Materials placed in designated areas on polling day
These regulations are not restricted to hard copy materials or materials placed in designated areas on polling days.
I thought I’d also clarify my motives (by quoting the response I gave to Basha):
Hehe, no, excuse me, I’m just being ridiculously pedantic and in some ways just expressing my irritation from past campaigns and my hope that this one will be done by the book.

These comments were more aimed at past electoral misconduct, rather then future. Anyway, I’ve drawn their attention to the regulations and they have both affirmed their intention to play by the rules. Mission accomplished.
