Last nights 2007 IMLAM Grand Final between Victoria University and Universitas Indonesia was won by Universitas Indonesia. Congratulations to the Indonesian team. Murdoch didn’t go away empty handed taking out the award for the best written memorandum on behalf of the claimant.

More big news… in 2008 the International Maritime Law Arbitration Moot will be returning to Murdoch University.

Congrats on the prize Peter, nice to see Murdoch bring back a prize. I see no mention of UWA, did they attend ?

No need to congratulate me… I came over to help Murdoch out by acting as an arbitrator (i.e. a judge for the competition). Had nothing to do with winning the prize.
Nup, UWA did not attend (and I don’t think they have ever entered the Maritime Moot). The only international moot they seem to be involved in is Jessup. Compared to Murdoch who now do Jessup, Willem c Vis, Lachs and Maritime and have had some great success this year including Maritime Semi-Final, Vis top 32 (out of 160+ teams) and making the regional grand final of the Lachs.
