The 2007 ALSA Conference started last night here in Canberra with a great event in the great hall of parliament house. As you can see from the photo, MSLS mascot Wilson the Penguin made a guest appearance soaring majestically above the crowd.
This is just a quick post to say good luck to all the competitors (especially to Murdoch). Rounds 1 and 2 are today and round 3 is tomorrow for mooting, client interview, negotiation and witness examination. The preliminary round for paper presentation is on Wednesday. Quarter-finalists and finalists for these competitions will announced at the cocktail party on Wednesday night. I will try to have quarter finalists posted here by Thursday.
